Originally from Mentor, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland), Rob Sr earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

He is an expert in planning, zoning, and development, having served as Chairman of the Citrus County Planning Commission and Chairman of The City of Inverness Planning & Zoning Committee. Rob Sr is also a Past-President of the Realtors Association of Citrus County (1993) and current Chairman of the association’s Professional Standards Committee.
In his spare time, Rob Sr officiates high school football and volunteers with the Inverness Little League.
