Gitta was born into a family of craftsmen and engineers in Bremen, Germany. After graduating in
business economics in 1978 she moved to Hamburg and worked for several large companies like Hapag
Lloyd and Siemens.
Later, while her husband was working as a CEO of the international software company Intercope, Gitta
founded a Dive Industry Consulting Company and a Scuba Dive shop, that with 22 employees and more
than 500 students a year quickly became the biggest dive shop in Northern Germany.
In 1994 during her first cave diving adventures in North Florida, she fell in love with Crystal River and
beautiful Citrus County. When her husband was asked in 2002 to manage the US subsidiary of Intercope,
Gitta took the opportunity to sell her company, moved to Florida and started a career in real estate.
With her tremendous know how in house building, repair and renovation, together with her knowledge
of international commerce and finance, she quickly rose up to an international sales and foreclosure
specialist.
If she is not on the road or underwater, Gitta loves house renovation, cooking, fine restaurants and
traveling abroad.
