Lakeside Golf and Country Club
is an 18 hole semi-private club offering two club houses, one with Van
Der Valk Bistro restaurant and lounge, the other featuring a pro
shop, driving range and practice putting green. The varying layout
is rated ? from the white tees and ?
from the reds. It is nestled in a setting of large oak trees, pines,
palms and a few cedars that can get hookers and slicers into trouble.
Water hazards come into play only on one hole on the front side, but
old phosphate pits loom large on numerouse holes, both on the front and
back sides. Members can own their carts and many commute from
their nearby homes. After your round, relax at Van Der Valk's for fine
french cuisine in an upscale atmosphere.
