Inverness Golf and Country Club is a 40 year old, 18 hole private club offering a club house with restaurant, lounge, pro shop, swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, driving range and practice putting green. The club maintains a small roster and a no tee times policy. The fairly level layout is rated 68.7 from the white tees and 70.3 from the reds. It is nestled in a setting of large oak trees, pines, palms and a few cedars that can get hookers and slicers into trouble. Water hazards come into play only on two holes on the front side and two on the back. Members can own their carts and many commute from their nearby homes. Membership packages are very flexible and include one to five month non-residents winter visitor plans.
